I honestly like having new characters with provided gear to test. Every guild should be able to do this, and no guilds will use it just as a server first realm.

I wouldn't mind bring able to test general gear or set bonuses too if those are available. An open test realm would save me a lot of gold from testing it on the main realm.

this is so much golden, I hope Nostalrius though about that this way aswell, as the setbonuses require some love on ptr aswell and should be fix'd before the release rather then on live later.
