Last time I checked the server claimed to be blizzlike.
This being said, of course it is far from blizzlike (retail vanilla), we have to accept that and be grateful about a server that tries its best to live up to the standards of back then. Its as blizzlike as possible for the Nostalrius staff.
So what is blizzlike? Assuming AV premades were possible and even though blizzard didnt implement a group queue button for a reason, they tolerated the queuing of a 30 man raid.
Is it blizzlike if 10 guilds start doing full guild AV's with superior organisation and gear compared to everyday pugs? A few hundred dominating and destroying the gameplay of ten thousand?
It is not. Back in retail there were nowhere as many premades and such a thing as 5 min AV's didnt happen or only very rarely on some servers. Of course the blizzlike system would allow to do it, but the gameplay wouldnt be blizzlike anymore. Be happy that the GM's only provide the real blizzlike feeling in some aspects in the game, otherwise MC would be much harder and fewer guilds would farm it now and there would only be like 2 premades each faction because that is how it was back then.
I think the decision to ban premades from AV is good and necessary to provide blizzlike experiences, however banning those players wasnt the fairest thing to do instead of just warning them. Eventually give that monkey a little mute for not being taught to be respectful by his mommy.
Cheers
