Aight, because it seems noone gives a sh!t to explain a few things for some people who aren't that great with PC thingies here goes:

First of all download the client here if you like FRENCH:

https://www.zone-wow.com/fr/client/2-4-3/

If you are like the most of us and you like English go here and download the English one:

https://www.zone-wow.com/fr/client/2-4-3-us/

The file is a rar or zip, I can't remember. Unrar or Unzip it somewhere in your computer.

If you are Korean/Chinese/Russian/Mpla and you don't speak English or French GTFO and go stream some HS or Starcraft.

The next step is to open the file realmlist.wtf with the notepad and write:

set realmlist 178.33.122.86:3725

Then go to file -----> save. Close the file.

The last step is to register your account. Go to:

http://tbc.nostalrius.org/

and scroll down, go to the JOIN PTR section of the site and register your account you ALREADY HAVE.

Launch the game from the folder (Wow.exe), log in and enjoy.

thanks for the info man, i tried the steps you listed but i'm having trouble at the log in screen. it won't let me log in at all, just keeps telling me "Unable to Connect" everytime i enter my info. I registered at the site and everything. any ideas?

so i actually downloaded the french by mistake then it actually worked everything was fine, now i swtiched to the US version and it says "unnable to login" seems wierd as they should be same file just with difrent language.

anyone how this comes ?

Yeah happened to me also with the installation in my laptop (US version). If you did everything mentioned above correctly and you still get the message Unable to Connect you should do this:

Open the config file (in the WTF folder) and it should be like this:

SET locale "enUS"SET realmList "178.33.122.86:3725"

And after this should be some other things that I don't understand lol. The important thing is that after SET locale "enUS" should write SET realmList "178.33.122.86:3725"

Leave the rest as they are and try to log in. Should be fixed.

I have now tried 3 different clients and none of them allow me in. I encounter the same error as the other people in this thread. Telling me my username or password is wrong.

I have used the same username and password that I use on the nostalrius vanilla server here. Could that be causing an issue?

I have checked all realmlist files and locales and all are correct.

Please help!

You must create a new account for the TBC PTR.

I did create a new account. But i used the same username and password that i have on nostalrius begins (vanilla). Does that cause some kind of error possibly?
