Punishment can NEVER be taking the guilty guy to previous possition of commiting the crime; if you do that, a lot more ppl will do ilegal things, because if they get caught, they just lose nothing.

Penalty has many goals, here are some of them:

It has to be deterrent, so you will think it twice before doing something.

It must take guilty ppl out of society ( wow in this case) for a period of time, or maybe forever, so they wont do same thing again.

It must give example to others.

Its a way of "paying back" to ppl you offended.

Its a way culprit gets re-educated to rejoin society when penalty is over.

So ban for using exploits after being part of the PTR group ( so you knew them and get advantage of it, and also you betrayed GMs trust) seems pretty fair to me; They will have time to think about what they did while they level up their new characters

The problem was not that they were using the /script to queue everyone into the battlefield. The problem was that they knew that it was queuing them into the battlefield in a premade group instead of randomly mixing in all the other players that have also queued for AV.

A non premade bg is refreshing at least. Many stopped playing bgs cause they found only premades against high level rank players.

yo retard you use the /cast script every time you hit one of your spells

get b& script kiddie

Because you have an IQ of a rock kiddie, most players don't use the /script JoinBattlefield(0,1) to join av
If you join av this way you cheat other players because you premade. Ok, kiddie or its really hard for you?

People underestimate the role that shitty GM interactions had in the death of feenix.

Slandering the people who gave up hours of their time to test content is right along those lines, particularly when so many of the reported bugs were not fixed.

The death of Feenix was because better things came out, namely this server and Kronos. Feenix was old and people wanted something new.

The staff of Nostralrius has made the decision to not allow pre-made AV. The week bands handed out made sure the community learned of this.

It's not a big deal.

The bigger deal are the bugs. While I am confident they will be fixed, it does show the lack of polish this private server has.

However, it's free, and they made fixes within 24 hours, and are obviously on top of it. I hope the tester community and the Dev's can get along / communicate better between each other. Does anyone know if the bugs on release were seen in the PTR? and if so, why were they not fixed before release?

I'm just curious here. Is it also considered abuse if you communicate over the in game chat to time the exact moment to hit the "join queue" button? Because that's literally all the macro does.

So testing for them should give you a free card on exploiting? interesting

I heard the AV on testrealm had TONS of bugs, but that the release was somewhat better so plenty has been fixed. People are just so impatient. You don't get a perfect AV without testing alot and there is alot to fix. I don't think anyone remember how content looked back on Feenix when it was released. It was pretty much stock mangos but worse somehow as it was an old backport.

There is no way that would be possible to do. Human reactions and voicecom lagg, much? Although that wasn't the issue was it, the issue was that it put them in the same AV every time?

I only wonder which part of ToU's been violated here. Unless using legitimate game mechanics is considered as a bug abuse nowadays. That'd be fun, wouldn't it?
