Support. Both friends I had join me left in the STV/Arathi stages of leveling due to ganking. Plus if there will be hardware issues there isn't really an option.

Would prefer some kind of bonus exp event to start it off since there won't be any transfers, but normal rates are still fine.

Oh my....don't turn this into a PvE vs PvP players fight.

How i see Nost high population issue right now:
Pro's:
-Very good chance of getting a group for dungeons/raids.
-Very easy to find a group for elite quests.
-Very easy for PvP'ers, lots of battlegrounds going on.
-Auction House swarms with items.
-Very easy to find a guild that you can join and develop with.
-Etc. (as etcetera, not Elite Tauren Chieftain)

Cons:
-Hard but not imposible to level-up doing quests, as sometimes you can find 10+ people doing the same quest (i personally found this annoying during the defias traitor quest in westfall).
-Getting ganked. Seems to be pretty frustrating for ordinary weaklings.
-Getting ganked-farmed. I have to confess, and i think everyone of you took it at least once in your wow lifetime. Getting killed 10 times by the same person, right after you revive is kindda` game-breaking, rage-quitting, rage-swearing issue, and only a no-brainer would do that.
-Hard to raise your proffessions and get money for that epic mount.
-Lag spikes due to server emulation limitations, or software/hardware.
-Etc. (as etcetera, not Elite Tauren Chieftain)

My conclussion @2AM, and after some beers is that you can't make it perfect. As some annoying things might be fun for others. If splitting the server into 2 realms is not an option for many of you, altering the vanilla experience, so the cons will dissapear are also not an option for others. Anyway, sunday will come and there will be consequences. Till then, cheer up and GG Nost staff.

This is a sad day.
The big reason I played here was because of the amazingly high population.

Hardware restrictions could easily be fixed with donations, splitting the server will not do anything good.

Cross-realm BGs. We have 1.12 talents, so why not include the primary feature of 1.12 if we have two realms?

Good effort, the vanilla private server community is lacking a PvE realm - regardless of what the lolsand nostradamus carebears think about it.

Even if they manage to implement it, the problem will be the huge gap between the 2 realms patch & gearwise, since the new realm will get the same progressive content release as the current one.
I don't think the majority of the players on the PvE realm would like to be linked for BGs with a way more populated and older realm, 1 or 2 raid tiers & patches ahead.
It could be an awesome feature when both servers are reaching endgame though.
