Yes! This is a great move. All the players worried about the community: I seriously doubt the main pvp realm will see a hit of more than 1-2k players. Which still leave 5-6k online at peak times. But the pve realm will bring in a whole new group of players that missed the first server launch, or simply never tried nost because they didn't want pvp.

Most people who have already spent time on the pvp realm won't reroll and wouldn't transfer anyway. The staff's goal with the new realm is clearly to bring in even more players, not split up the players they've already got. If they wanted to split the community, they would have offered transfers. However, they are doing a FRESH server release. It's brilliant because denying transfers is the best move for keeping the main realm highly populated, while allowing new players or those wishing to level alts a place to play.

Pretty good points. If anything, this move will bring in more players to the Nost community.

I fully support this, the vanilla community was in dire need of different types of servers than PvP, and a change like this caters to a sizeable slice of Nost's demographic.

What I'm worried about is how this will affect the number of people doing PvE on the main server, since although I don't really care about PvP, I won't be changing over either, and I do love being able to get a group for pretty much anything in 5 minutes.

Why do people always have to mess with things? You have a GREAT server with a HUGE population, one of it's main selling points and now you're going to divide the population. You can't make an MMORPG without two Ms.

another Realm = more work for devs/admins
there are so many bugs to fix and content to script, the second realm will slow that down so much... and anyway, instead of paying a server for a second realm they should improve the PvP realm first imo
stable with 6k+ rite??
