How fucking sad is it that I have a fair amount of friends that I go out with regularly, a girlfriend, a loving family and I live in the country side and things, but some of my most fondest memories are of Vanilla WoW, Nostalrius and Emerald Dream...

I'd kind of want a fresh start with the server if they did come back. Mostly because a lot of the "early content" was extremely bugged, incomplete, or plain out wrong. Not to mention a plethora of items that seemed to fly under the radar that shouldn't have been in the game that were. Allowing everyone to play differently. I mean, a lot of those items and fixes happened, but they didn't come for a while.

I think it'd be a bit difficult to just get back up and running from where I left off. I'm not sure if others would have the same issue or even guilds.

With that said. I still don't expect Nostalrius to come back from the staff. I'd hope it would, but I don't think that's what the staff has in mind if Blizzard doesn't do anything.

Yeah thats a good point, the updated rare pvp set for example was bit fucked up since it came too early and all. I wouldnt mind a fresh start, atleast the server would last longer theoretically. But leveling warrior again is a pain in the ass

The "Race to 60" should be way more polished if it were to be a fresh start
No 2x SP enchants from Beastslaying, no Hyper sonic speed Hunter pets, Hunter pets not randomly despawning forever, no 2x AP in Feral Form, etc.

If Nost comes back I would prefer a fresh start rather than just resuming from the old data. And, well... I also don't even remember my account info anymore

I deleted my two level 60 chars one hour before the shutdown, if they reopen... :O

They most likely made a save prior to announcing the shutdown. So they could revert to that and no one would lose anything.
