The only ones shit posting here are the ones crying and throwing a fit. It's not even been a week and people act like they've gone 2 months without news. If you don't want to waste time on 2 different servers, find something else to do until there is a confirmation?

There's nothing wrong with asking for updates, it's just the attitude and methods that people go about doing it that is embarrassing.

We don't necessarely want the PvE server to be released as much as we want a confirmation whether it will be released or not...
Because at the moment, I have quit leveling on the PvP server, knowing that if the PvE one comes out I'll have to go through all that I've done all over again... But if they just say "no pve servs 4 you lol" then I'll just keep playing as if nothing happened...

THis is exactly my issue too, I just want to know if it is going to happen or not. I have stopped leveling on the PVP server, only because for the 3 hours I am on after work, I am getting killed/corpsed running for close to 1/2 that time and I'm sick of the time wasted. Other private PVP servers don't have such as toxic community as this one, so being on another PVP server isn't usually an issue. Not sure why Nostalrius attracted such a nasty player base, but it is what it is.

I started playing on a BC PVP server until something changes .. either Nos puts up a PVE server OR gets rid of the assholes on their PVP server. Not all PVP servers are overrun with these social rejects, so I'm wondering what Nos is doing wrong at this point.

The BC server had 1600 on when I logged off last night, haven't had a chance to log in today, but am thinking it will be more crowded on a Saturday. It's called Excalibur, and it will work for now. At least I can play the game and get some enjoyment out of it without a quest hub being camped hours by some huntard who pissed off that he can't get laid in real life. (ok .. I'm embellishing, but I'm sure it prolly true with some of the gankers lol).

Thinking on starting lvling a paladin on the PvP server just to have something to do until it comes up, might find some ppl on the PvE server that wanna do some PvP on the PvP server.

I think it peaked 1708 or 1715, but I'm not sure. I know fore sure it was more than 1600 which is more than enough for a server.

I agree with Syleynna on a lot of the points mentioned.

The PVE server will hopefully attract more mature population including many of us veteran players that are otherwise turned off by the current state of this server. I know this household will absolutely roll on the new server and we will most likely spread the word to our old friends to see if they want to join us.

The reason I have not been suggesting this realm so far to our Vanilla buddies is that I can't see them having a good time being subjected to the generall asshattery seen on the pvp server here. These F2P kids would not recognize real world pvp if it bit them in the butt...

Well, here is to hoping for a new PVE server announcement.

It's called Excalibur. At least I can play the game and get some enjoyment.

But it's still pvp server.. so for me enjoyment ends when opposite faction player sees me.. It doesn't matter is he/she higher or lower lvl I still don't want to fight against.. and running away hardly ever works much better..

So I am not going to log in to pvp server ever again. Still I would like to play wow and raid.

It literally takes 30 seconds for them to pop in and say "it's coming" / "its not coming" - the fact that they are just silent speaks volumes about THEIR attitude. Keep in mind it's our time that keeps this game alive. They need to be careful with ignoring the hand that feeds.
