I understand your passion but thats just misguided, it would be best for everyone who really cares for legacy if blizzard did it justice and right. Unless your only excuse is that you dont want to pay :P

Well if you want a fresh start, push for a 3rd server. No need to force everyone.
But not gonna happen anyway most likely :(.

As multiple people said, its better to have Nostalrius back online with old data & maybe even a third server, so that there is old data + a new start.

I'd also think its better, if Blizzard doesnt announce anything, to not just release the code/data/etc, instead the Nostalrius Devs should rather look for a trusted project (maybe Elysium?) to share the data with. Or they start it again by themself, but that would put them at the risk of lawsuit.

Thanks everyone for playing on Nostalrius, it was the best WoW experience in a long time.

Basically you are spitting on the entire staff effort to push for official legacy servers, nice.

Dude you're such a tunnel visioned zealot its beyond laughable at this point. The goal is to have SOMETHING going while Blizzard take its pace. Not to mention the thing that its so easy for Blizzard to forge some bullshit hype-like "maybe" and if every one of those "maybes" means that there should be NO source release, NO official backing for other server, NO nothing because it MAY potentially harm the "deal" its like a medieval veto rule. What is it in your head that makes you unable to understand that people calling for source release are NOT against legacy, its the thing that Legacy agenda should not hinder any private scene movements because if it does it gives Blizzard a tool to control private scene. Don't you get it?
