Yes, I can confirm this. I also have a screenshot as a proof.

Don't fricken ban him; fix it. It's a beta test. That's a terrible message to send by banning him. There are a lot of small bugs here that need to be ironed out.

The developers explicitly stated

Any hack attempt will result into a permanent ban

in the invite email and there was a dedicated hacking session for that kind of thing, so really he's just not following rules.

Having said that, the hacking session was a bit small and like someone (Kill?) wrote they didn't get much chance to play with things like this, so it's kind of good it came out now.

Imo this isnt right. Since many people already shared their opinion the hack session was too short and lowly participated in. They could have continued it troughout the last few sessions for more details.

Constantly doing it is stupid.
Either do it once and then report, or accept the fact that you might get a sanction. What's the point of doing it repeatedly ? Once is good enough, twice, why not, but multiple times like he did?

Woah woah. Moxey: As I told you after you flamed me in said WSG, I was testing bugs since this was a 'Testing Session'. I dunno how many bugs you found but from what i saw you were flaming people on their ability of killing an enemy druid with the flag while you sat above the alliance tunnel. I played for around 2 hours and found like 5-6 bugs. On reflection, i think it was best for me not to reply to a night elf hunter called legolas.

And Envy: Constantly? Repeatedly? How many times did you actually see me do it? Sure I did it a few times to demonstrate to people asking me in my stream. If we actually wanted a specific number we could always check my unedited vod.

This is my first time testing on nostalrius sorry if i'm doing it wrong. Maybe next time i'll attempt to farm honor and duel people instead. That'll iron out all the bugs ready for a steady and bug-free vanilla server.

Just saddening to see all those smug people saying "reported". This is exactly the type of stuff you need to find, and in my not so humble opinion this is what everyone should focus on finding.

These types of exploits is what will hamper the post-release game play the most, and during a beta there should be no repercussions for using them, it is after all what will have the most negative impact when the server is released.

You are doing fine, don't mind people crying around for bans in a test session (I mean, seriously guys?). I mean this is a test session, NOT a "having PVP fun before launch"-session. It is NOT about fairness in the BGs or anything like that, if you might haven't noticed. It is about finding bugs!
