Vanilla WoW was my first plunge into a serious MMO. I had watched my brother play classic EQ and had played Runescape myself - but the day I made that undead rogue named Ieatbabies, my life changed.

Wow, what? I also had a character named exactly Ieatbabies, although it was a twink back in TBC.

Anyways, Nost devs, I really can't thank you enough for the time I've spent here. It really sucks that it has to end like this. Fuck.

First off, a huge thanks to the entire Nost team. The entire nost experience has been an impressive feat.

Second, have you contacted the EFF? They have legal resources and might be willing to take up a case involving reverse engineering rights. I found a thread discussing a similar case. Unfortunately, MMORPGs aren't covered by the granted exemption, but the EFF may be willing to take up Nost's case in order to expand the exemption.

From my experience with servers best location for hosting absolutely anything, and by that I mean anything, is Ukraine. Belive me, no FBI, no Blizz, nothing will touch that sensible country status.

My advice: move everything in Ukraine, and you shall not be bothered again.

Thanks to the Nostalrius crew and all the players here that made these servers a breathing and living world. It was a blast, so sad that it has to end so soon. I´ve expected to play at least one more year on the PVE until we would have cleared Naxx and then maybe switch over to the TBC.
Anyways, it was a great time, thanks for all of this.
