"Oh we had our meetings with Mark and Nost, but we have no information to report on a decision. Stay tuned until oblivion for us to give you an answer

Yeah, the biggest thing for me is the fact that Feenix / Kronos are shit compared to a Blizzard-run legacy server with Nost admins working as advisors + dev team + whatever. The difference between those two classes of server is tremendous.

I'd like to know if I should continue wasting my time playing Kronos or not.

If you like any form of vanilla wow, Kronos is going to be your best bet for quite some time, perhaps forever. The dog and pony show is just about over, never to be seen again.
