if you can't connect to notslarius ( because try to connect to another server), try this :

explorer windows => game menu for you wow vanilla => search for : *.wtf => change all with the nostalrius one.

Some private server don't have the realmlist.wtf in the root game.

it keeps connecting me to Test realm - 1sVV2 and automatically disconnecting

I had the same issue, When connecting press cancel button and it will give you a choise of realms to choose from, change it to Nostalrius Begins

Im having that issue too but when I press cancel I dont get a choice of realms. It just goes back to login. Do i need to reinstall?

Close game.
Delete the WDB and WTF directories.
Restart Game.
Log in.
Eventually you should get to a realm suggestion screen. Make sure to check PVP. That assigns you to Nostalrius Begins.

It still says Vanillagaming in my lower right corner, probably because I downloaded it using the link Nostalrius provided from them, and I've changed my realmlist but Vanillagaming is still there. Is this effecting my login?

Than go into your WoW folder and delete everything in WDB folder and try again

Where is that? Only folders in my wow folder is: Data, Documentation, Interface.
