^ Taken straight from the FAQ. Considering there's a month of winter left I do believe that the "gift" might actually be a possible announcement of a release date.

The problem with this is, and I said it before, they hyped people up, and people are expecting a release date now. If they don't announce a release date now, people are going to be terribly let down. I'm sure of it.

No one's fault but your own for expecting a release date. If you're terribly let down by it not being something you made up, well... that's just silly.
