I think it's more the idea that people feel led on. The hype videos before the server opened said that everything was fully scripted by X amount of professional programmers, many years in the making. They also said they would adhere to a progression timeline.

Obviously neither of these things are true, so many people feel like they're wasting time while the devs play catch up. And, of course, as we all know, time is money, friend.

game is free.

Yes. But that's such a fucking bullshit excuse of an argument.
Promises are promises. Nothing in their pre-release video was true. That's unacceptable, and up for discussion. We play here for fun, and me, and many others, are here only for the 60 content and it's absolutely fucking garbage right now. We have a right to complain, even if it's free.

they probably didn't expect the population the server got. They had to add a lot of things to help keep the server stable. quit complaining

Well I can tell you two things. They probably lied about having content done already or they have had problems arise that they didn't see when they announced their timeline. Either way bitching on the forums isn't gonna make it come out faster or make them do a better job I promise. So you have two choices either quit and don't play on the project or wait like everybody else is.

Chill down man, u want the server to have like naxx in like 1 year?
I love it that they don't release the content too soon.
It really gives me the old vanilla wow feeling.

Thanks for Dire maul devs and staff.

Unfortunately with those two choices, Misa, along with every other raider that came here with their guild, has to concede that they've effectively wasted 7-12 days of /played leveling, another few days /played of gearing up in 5 mans with shit loot, and depending on the individual another 10-20 days /played of pvping, based on false promises of pre-scripted content which were huge in a lot of guild's decisions to come here versus a competitor.

No one enjoys being left in limbo, raiders who have done this song and dance on 3+ servers least of all. Another realistic timeline should be made so guilds & individuals can effectively cut their losses and run if they're not up for say, farming molten core with lmaonoloot for another 4 months before seeing BWL release.

Either way I'm definitely excited for these new 5 mans that don't drop any loot.

Well alot of the 5man loot for some classes / specs is actually better then MC pieces even after the update, but anyway you're right if those people aren't happy with the current release rate of content (i HIGHLY doubt it will start to come any faster) and feel as though killing mobs for non upgrades for a few weeks / months is pointless then yes they should quit (either until the content is released that they want to play or for forever if they feel cheated / burned)

Well then that'd be terrific if those 5 man pieces were to be updated now instead of...when was it....AQ or Naxx? that they were boosted to those levels where they outpaced MC loot.

That's why a new timeline is needed.
