Alterac Valley pre-nerf on PVE server

Fixed, for everyone that wants lag-free gameplay with a healthy, blizzlike population.

PvE server hits 3700 on weekends, 1200 over cap doesn't seem healthy.

But this should make for fun AV's! specially when the raid loggers hit exalted and quit queuing.

What about the pre 1.4 Epic Mounts?

Will there be an announcement like for the PvP Server when we can buy them in BoE versions?

With reference to https://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19657 , pre-1.4 mounts were not implemented on the Nostalrius PvE server. The 1.12 mount system is used from the start.

Prices are, undiscounted / -10% / -20% discount for Honored+ rep or PvP Rank 3+
10G/9G/8G normal mount, 100G/90G/80G epic mount,
90G/81G/72G apprentice riding and 900G/810G/720G journeyman riding, secondary professions,
Only mounts of the same faction can be purchased with Exalted for that race.

The only change with this 1.4/1.5 patch is that normal mounts become BoP.


In the original WoW, "base cost of a mount was 20g for the (mount-specific) riding skill and 80g for the L40 mount. Upgrading to an Elite mount used to cost 1000g." http://www.mortalken.com/news/archives/102

Prices were, undiscounted / -10% / -20% discount for Honored+ rep or PvP Rank 3+
80G/72G/64G normal mount, 1000G/900G/800G upgrade that normal mount to epic mount,
20G/18G/16G per riding racial ability.
Pre 1.4, mounts were Bind on Use and could be sold on AH, which was done by PvP players to sell at a profit.
Pre 1.3, any mount could be purchased with Exalted for that race, including cross-faction.


TL;DR. Mount system is 1.12 already. Undiscounted, 1 normal mount 3 epic mounts cost you 100+1000+100+100 = 1300G, instead of a whopping 1100G*3 = 3300G what it used to be. Be happy. Let's PvP this Sunday.

Question, with mc40 loot update, will raid IDs be wiped when the patch launches or will they carry over with the new patch?

As with the release on the PvP server, raids will reset with the honor update as normal.

i would not think so, most guilds prob will save mc for monday or tuesday.

It was not on pvp server, so it's best to save MC for after the update

The mount system on the PvP server was the skill based 1.12 version from the start as well... This post makes no sense in that regard.

On the PvP server they gave only ~5 days warning about the mounts going BOE so I'd just assume they are doing the same thing if you want to make sure you can get one.
