The more I've thought about it, the more at ease I am with the 2.5k cap. I think the first day will be complete chaos, as should be expected of new server launches. But I believe it will mostly be smooth sailing after that.

I would say three weeks. Last week the Devs said look for an announcement in two weeks, so one week to go now, and then two weeks to get everything square.

Just fyi, I"m making all this up based on my own reasoning. :D

Meh, it took 1 week for decision, now it will take time for the video, then there will be an announcements, with even more weeks of waiting.

The estimation goes from 1 Month to "Soon".

yeah it's a bit unnerving. but i think it will be worth it. at least for me, it would be the first time classic since the retail

Nah, you will not. More than enough scrubs among PvP-ers.

I'm sort of dreading this scenario too. I deleted my characters on both Nost and Primal to wait for the fresh start.
I have stuff to do while waiting but... I'm just hoping it comes before "soon".

I am also so exited about this server that waiting is getting painfull.. the only good thing is that GW2 became just free to play so at least I have something to play meanwhile.. :D

Honestly, what's the point of a PVE server if you can't even transfer your toons? It's a complete waste for people that have been playing on the PVP server and leveling toons getting ganked every 10 minutes. Now we have to start over from the beginning? So basically we get punished for not liking forced pvp but putting up with it the last 3 months? Sorry but it's pointless if that's the case. Why can't we copy toons to the pve server? It can't be that difficult. I'd rather see the devs work on getting the latest vanilla content out.
