Rather than speculating on what is going on, does anyone know if this event is actually active? I already dumped a few hours into searching but before I do any more I kinda wanna know if it's actually going on.

Well obviously, I'd still like to participate if its a neat hidden quest thing, I don't care about what other people on this thread are whining about, but if it's just some weird joke or not actually active and the NPCs being around is an accident, I've got better things to do than a wild goose chase.

What we do know is there are Goblin NPCs in capitals, directing you to Booty Bay, and Kryll in Booty Bay directing you to collect some items (without actually giving you any quest) and then at the locations he listed there does not appear to be anything there. While this may mean it's a scavenger hunt, it could also mean a bug. Unlike most of you I'm more interested in the journey than the end result (I mean I might find the end result dumb, but I doubt it will be game-breaking and I doubt it will be some form of fast-travel), but after dumping several hours into it already, if it is working its clearly some sort of scavenger hunt, but with the state of bugs in general on private servers I'm not willing to dump time into a possibly broken event.

Did someone already find out what's this Kryll thing all about? Did anyone find these items that are mentioned in the video? (Wood from the world tree of Noldrassil / Stones from the Dark Portal.) Can you use them by any chance?

I was pretty sure Kryll died in Warcraft 3. So you could say I'm confused.

I hope they don't make any zones ghost towns by introducing some sort of fast travel system.

Because not wasting 10mins on zep and then 10 more minutes on flyin to Badlands everytime (for example) would definately turn the zones u fly through into ghost towns..yus!

Because this is a blizzlike server for Vanilla, not Cataclsym. And because I like the feeling of adventure not pressing one button to do everything in the game.

And don't tell me the same thing the retail players tell me "well you don't have to use it hurr durr". Yeah I don't. But the world still remains shit.
