Yes, ALL reamls, even the TBC will be shut down as Blizzard is targeting the hosting company who is hosting the servers and all are on the same.

Yes, I will be willing to start working as a volunteer Just tried building the vagrant image and extracting data from client. Is there a place I can go to for help if I run into problem running the server?

go to Elysium , the server have migrated there

It is still alive in a full mode , just getting prepared to re launch
