Someone posted it waaaay back a few pages ago with the exact quote that Nost MAY release the code. Please do yourselves a favor a look up in the dictionary the meaning of the word "May". Just FYI it has a different meaning then the word "will"

Well I would think the MaNGOS developers aren't behaving in this manner. I wasn't talking about the people behaving civilly, I'm talking about the ones freaking out on the forums (GIMME MY TOON, GIMME MY TOON!!!). If you do recognize any of this behavior in in yourself, then you need to step back andreevaluate.

On the other hand theluda, you have given me quite the education on another thread, and I know you are coming at it from a different perspective and I do see the bigger picture with the opensource discussion that is being drowned out by the "gimme my toon" posters.

Thanks for the update, Nostalrius staff. It makes perfect sense to hold onto your source code. Releasing it is a great way to lose any goodwill you've developed with Blizzard. Good luck with your upcoming meetings, I'll be waiting (as patiently as possible!) for more updates.
