Personally I think it will be a video and announcement of a few week beta test. Sure we just had the last 'session' but by that I think they just meant the focused tests.

I want the server soon to play it, but i also want it tested and working right so it grows into something great.

This video is here to create hype, and in my opinion, about the release date on the 11th February.
Why ? Because tons of things are in that direction :

- Last-testing session. Do you really think they will let us without any test for weeks ? "Everything" has been tested. Quests are considered scripted, as they were available for years on the "beta" phase.
- All those numbers at the start of the video like "9000 creatures, 4000 quests..." and the lot of in-game footage of the server, in almost every aspect, have nothing to do with the "test-automation" feature.
- "In a few days it will be the 10th anniversary of World of Warcraft European release, the European launch was on February 11th, 2005, and we may have a gift for you . Are you ready ?"
Are you ready... Are you ready ? ARE YOU READY ?
Ready for what ? Another 48 hours test-phase on the 10th anniversary of WoW ? Nope.
- Right after we can see the end of the WoW launch trailer, intense music, and a slow-motion apparition of "Nostalrius BEGINS".
Am I the only one that see a clear announcement of the release date on 11th February ? Or the announcement of the announcement of the release date ?

Release date is already announced. What we are waiting now is the exact hour of the release.

Good points there Voodoom.
From a (not entirely sure if it's the right word in english) marketing perspective I think it would be a waste to not release on the 11th.

People might look back at old videos, talk to friends about the good old days and that way find out about Nostalrius and wonder what the hell went wrong with the game (since it's now even getting a SELFIE CAM and social media integration...)

So delaying it even by two weeks would be a gigantic waste... as Vyper said in the other threads the MC bugs and the other crashes that occured during the last session have been fixed and now it's just polishing.
The quests was afaik fixed in the Nostalrius Beta.

So tbh, I believe it's time for a release.
We're also soon passing the Kronos facebook with likes, so the hype train has got a lot of momentum at the moment and that's something we don't want to miss with delaying it for another month or something.....

As I wrote in the other thread, don't see any reason for the realm to not be released on 11th. Two/three bugs found in MC with garr/luci adds can be fixed in upcoming 2-4 weeks before the first raid even steps into that place. Bugs found in pvp were already handled, as stated. Remember, this is not ed or kronos or some other server where everything is 1.12.1... we will be doing pre-nerfed raids here, so taking down later part of MC or Ony will be quite a feat. Everything will be significantly more difficult, leveling included.

Really don't want to see Nos becoming another disappointment like CC (even kronos starts being thrown into that category lately), resulting in endless waiting and players slowly bailing out.

I think the so called "gift" will be a new website (with account creation and so on) and maybe a release date with it.
It makes no sense to open the realm without any clear announcement.

Garr adds were already fixed and tested. They worked perfectly when we killed Garr on the last day of testing. I believe the luci adds were also fixed, we didn't bother testing it though. The MC on luci still wasn't dispell-able but we weren't able to report that until the last couple hours of the test (had to do a lot of digging to confirm that it should be).
