You could say it could be apart of the 25th Anniversary Special. Game Companies have in the past created new games or have recreated their past games on Anniversary dates before. So it is possible they could announce a Classic Server in celebration of their 25th Anniversary!

Blizzard is afraid that an eleven year old version of WoW beating a modern version of that game, they should be ashamed... And here is my thoeries whats gonna happen at Blizzcon :
a/ Blizzard wont anounce anything about legacy servers.. Nostalrius finally will realise they got baited by Blizzard and re-open a new nostalrius server and it will be low populated cuz noone wants put so much time on something that will be gone (so basicly they fcked the vanilla community and Nostalrius team with trusting them)
b/ Blizzard will reply "We are aware of legacy servers and we look forward in near future" and hype the community ... And we gonna wait 6 more months till everyone forgets about Nostalrius situation like they done last time


And when everyone forgets what happen to Nostalrius noone will talk about it and there will be less presure on blizzard by disappointed vanilla players like me

look at all these ppl who havent even played legion

most ppl have moved on from private servers to legion for a reason

Because blizzard closed nostalrius and that all the other private server are pretty much empty since they are p2w or just shitty. Lets be honest all the big streamer like Lirik,soda,summit and many more would all play vanilla/TBC over current WoW if they could stream it.
