once theres the pve server and only fags like you and your friends (calling ppl on the internet friends = friends 2 gud) are left, you can do whatever you like, in public, calling it wpvp

That's how it is, you get killed a few times getting to your dungeon, a thing like a pve realm can severely diminish the population once the hype that is going on will die out, I don't want to see a flunk on the pve realm causing the whole project to dip in population. Once done ranking, I want to be able to log on into blackrock mountain, farm some five man groups trying to get into instances and log off.

It'll happen what happened to peenix, half afking brm to finally see another player after thirty minutes and it's another of your faction. :dddd

IF everything should go wrong and a realms pop drops below 3k, they can always just transfer the PvE chars onto the PvP one. i doubt that would be a problem thus there not really is a risk. tho i doubt that will happen in the next years

if the pvp realm had 3-4k pop and not 6-8k, i'd also definitly prefer pvp since ive also played on a pvp server back then and it can be fun. but with 8k pop you're forced to pvp all the time, plus there are many other downsides that do not only refer to pvp but to the pvp servers high pop which makes a pve realm more attractive to many ppl

imo a 2nd (pve) server isnt the best solution, tho its a solution and better than having the lags and all the sht forever.

And in the end you're just like them, only giving thought to your own situation. Again, if to you the sheer obstacle of having to level all over again isn't immediately fucking apparent as a problem and a dampener to your enthusiasm, it's because you have yet to even try getting past 20 or 30 or so on nostalrius and don't really understand the situation you're in. It's all the mean HK farmers fault? They're definitely retards, but no. I'll be the first to tell someone that the player vs. player component of world of warcraft is a distraction at best, but that 7-9 days /played average to 60 comes to mind and the following realization is that, what, you're gonna commit that kind of time to the game and some ganking ESL student undead rogue is enough to stop you? Unlikely. Playing through vanilla content in 2015 was always going to demand a kind of patience that some of you don't have and you're better off just admitting it.

To be clear I'm not automatically against the opening of a PVE realm if the numbers can support both, but their stance against transfers and putting progression behind where it's at currently makes it seem...messy, and too late for most of us besides. The only genuine reason I can think of for that decision is to appease those that really, really care about server firsts, and they are definitely a far tinier minority than both pro- and anti-wPvP whiners to the point they're barely representing themselves in this thread at all. Maybe someone with their thoughts more collected can make a better argument for or against instead of posting image macros. Let's wait and find out.

I don't understand why people get so mad about this.. Those who have already got to lvl 60 and found a guild to raid with will probably stay in PvP server anyway. And it will probably always be the most populated vanilla server.

But there is also a lot of ppl who started here in the first place but have gone to other servers or games as they did not enjoy playing here because of world PvP. (I am one of them!)
If there will be even around 1k players in this new server I will be so happy to be able to enjoy of relaxed vanilla wow again.

And one more thing. I think it would be good idea that for example after 6 months they would open the transfers. Then this pve server would be rdy for those 60's to transfer and on the other hand if player in pve server feels like there isn't enough players he could transfer to PvP.
