I would just like to tell everyone that is part of Nostalrius thank you. Thank you for recreating..well to some extent at least.. my childhood.. The friends i made.. the people that i met.. memories made.. All the things that i did.. The time spent.. All for the pure enjoyment of Vanilla World of Warcraft. I love Nostalirus it is truely a dream come true i am very sad to see it go but all things have to come to and end i suppose.. So now that i have given you 9 months of my life.. I thank you again and i bid you a Fare-Well. Good Bye Nostalrius my Good Friend.

Seriously, why would you host in France, knowing that they are within reach of US law? Host offshore, or in Russia like those idiots at Feenix.

I highly suggest you copy your database right quick and re-host to a Russian server. Get in touch with some players. You may not be able to be the controlling persons anymore, but it would be the best chance for the players. Russia wouldn't enforce US copyright law, or it would be too costly to litigate.

so... atlantiss had OVH as a hoster too last year, they got a dmca from blizzard too last year... all they did was have few hours downtime until they moved to a new hoster... guess what blizzard did... exactly nothing besides realizing they have no legal means to shut down a wow project in the EU besides if a hoster terminates the service by themself and the devteam gives up. thats the only 2 reasons why this server is shutting down. Blizzard has nothing to do with it.

it is 100% only pussy hoster and devteam who has given up or lost interest.
