Nostalrius will return and this will most likely trigger a ripple throughout the private server scene as an act of defiance against Blizzard.

We tried to be nice, we tried to negotiate and we tried to give them lots of chances to be rational with tons of threads.

They were not going to have it.

There's no stopping it, pull out all the stops and ram the fucking train through their house and show them who's fucking king.

As much as reading that made me like "FUCK YEA!" i highly suggest to keep the smarts, private scene and people running it are still david vs goliath, lets not make wars guys, if blizzard wanna ruin themselves its their fucking choice, let them starve. No point highlighting the conflict as if they get really angry they will hurt private scene big time.

Just notice how much harm they did with simple "maybe". Thats like first rule of having control over population, divide and rule. Imagine what they'd do if we threw punches at them even after having a valid place to play again. I mean people are free to voice their opinions and thats right... but there's a world of difference between saying "nah retail is not for me, i think it sucks for various reasons, im not the generation of gamer that enjoy that anymore" and being spam boycott bot on their comm platforms.

They can't harm us, they can close down servers, but we'll just open a new one up.

We're like an unstoppable force that won't die down, ever.

They lose more and more subscribers each year, most of them just flat out quit WoW but some of them go on private servers instead.

Our numbers are growing and Blizzard completely recognizes that, why do you think they shut down Nostalrius? They were getting afraid, real afraid.

Afraid of us.

They know that if we get tons of people that it'll be enough to become competition for them and they don't want that, they are scared shitless of us and Nostalrius knows this, which is why they made that threat in the first place.

We have the power to put a big fucking hole in their infrastructure and hurt them badly, which is why I'm urging Nostalrius to release a new private server.

It could all be a show ofcourse, someone pulling our leg. The small snips of evidence sure is exciting though.
