Thanks to the Nost team and the community, it was my first (looks like also the last) private server experience and i've had the best time in here! Its very sad that things as they are right now are going to end

Blizzard have lost all of what was left of my respect to them.

I may not have been the best player you all had and I know it's mostly my apathy in humanity that helps that, but regardless of all that I said due to some small grievances over quest items, I do want to share to the Nostalrius Administration team, you have been awesome and I apologize mostly to Tyrael for my behavior previously..

wherever you all go from here on out, best of luck and thank you for providing all of us this server, I made some good memories here with my guild and I don't regret playing here.

that goes for the community of Nost as well. I don't like you much, but you liked this game, so we good. take care fuckers.

Sunday will probably be the biggest emulation of the worlds end thats ever been seen in human history because of the high number of participants =).

so... atlantiss had OVH as a hoster too last year, they got a dmca from blizzard too last year... all they did was have few hours downtime until they moved to a new hoster... guess what blizzard did... exactly nothing besides realizing they have no legal means to shut down a wow project in the EU besides if a hoster terminates the service by themself and the devteam gives up. thats the only 2 reasons why this server is shutting down. Blizzard has nothing to do with it.

I'm so sad this is coming to an end. What a great year and what an amazing community. I want to thank the staff who put so much effort into making this server the best. I guess it was a full time job and it's a bit sad that you didn't get to play/raid etc because it was so much fun as a player. I still have hope that something can be sorted out but if not, well... i had a great year <3

I totally loved this vanilla. Just read about blizz reasons for not to make vanilla. somehow i got an idea that they dont wanna rollback due technical issuis and graphs.. Imo nostalrius could try subscription out so blizz would benefit from nost server and give it rights to keep running cuz nost dev team did awesome job. Not that many bugs and things were smooth. Im gonna leave blizz alone cuz of this. No more HS, Hots or wow. just because of this act against its old community and ppl who has paid many euros/dollars to blizzard.

Good buy nostalrius and blizzard. Spending my money elsewhere.
