Well then that'd be terrific if those 5 man pieces were to be updated now instead of...when was it....AQ or Naxx? that they were boosted to those levels where they outpaced MC loot.

That's why a new timeline is needed.

I mean the diremaul loot specifically not all 5 mans. Also the a lot of the loot in MC and 5 mans is updated in the next content release when AV comes out. I agree a timeline would be great, but I don't think you're going to get one and I don't think you're going to get content any faster.

And the vast majority of the dire maul loot isn't in yet, and won't be when it releases this weekend.

There was a timeline promised, now since MC got cleared on day one, there's a 'guideline'. I doubt they'll recommit to anything, which unfortunately does make it difficult for raiding guilds to plan. And of course people are unhappy since the original timeline and the promise it was all scripted was a big lure.

But they have encountered a lot of issues and dealt with a heck of a lot of stuff outside of actual development. I guess we can just wait and see where they take it from here and if things slow down too much - AV/BWL delayed by months - guilds will quit, but it's not like the server needs them at the moment anyway.

Well, I cleared ZG and AQ20 during the open beta and everything was scripted. I'm willing to bet that when they put them on the PTR, there are way more bugs than we saw during the open beta.

When you change code related to core mechanics, a lot of random shit breaks.

Plus they spent a good 2-3 months just dealing with the unexpected huge number of players. It seems like they are fixing shit a lot faster now.

Yep and tbh I've not really encountered anything extremely buggy outside of raids. But you never know what can crop up next, hence I doubt they'll return to a timeline and remain with the 'indicative' guideline.

So people cry when there's no information relative to Dire Maul, and once we get a date for its release... People cry even more?
Seriously?

It's not so much crying as it is disappointment in what was expected of the patch. Most people assumed they would update items with this patch, something that isn't actually happening.
I think it's alright to be upset if you start playing here on the false premise that they have a timeline that they will follow.

Who really cares about Dire maul itself? It's obviously the updated loot table of MC that people cared about.
oh, ok.

Maybe they had to change their plans about that timeline, most people don't have any idea what it is to manage a server, it's already quite hard to manage ~50 people in a guild, so 8000 in a server? People just don't realize this so yeah, maybe the timeline had to change and maybe we'll have to wait one or two more weeks before the updated versions of the items, but so what?

As long as things keep being released, moving forward, I don't care, I'm even happy about it.
And the fact that they are barely telling us any info since a few weeks ago is definitely a repercussion of how people react when they get some.

It's a game.
It's a free server.
This is not against you Snowflakes, more like a general sadness of how people actually react!

Will DM have the same loot table in 1.12 or is the DM loot table completely different in 1.4?.
