Dunno, but I think that would be a bad idea. The PvP server will be further along in progression than the PvE realm. The PvE realm is starting from the beginning, "pre 1.4 patch", so it wouldn't be fair.

I'll be there. My wife would like to play - but she is partially blind and can't do PvP any longer. On-live a few years ago she loved it, but now its an exercise in futility for her. So I'll be rolling along with her on the new server. Don't cross sever the BG's yet (wait at least a few months)

Yeah seriously, the ganking that occurs usually resolves itself within 10-15 minutes tops. Exceptions to this are very, very rare. And if anyone is going to argue that, please share a video showing someone ganking you for more than 15 minutes - otherwise you are full of shit and it was really like 1 time but you decided to cry about it for a week and then exaggerate the hell out of the story with 0 proof.

I have a strong feeling this PVE server nonsense will hurt Nost overall. A large percentage of the people begging for it now, are going to get bored without the world PVP. It might sound like a great idea, but after you level to 60 with ZERO conflicts in contested zones, and run a raid once or twice, 90% of people will just get bored and quit (if they even get that far.) Don't forget - the real reason retail is failing is because they removed everything challenging from the game. World PVP is a critical component.

You actually NEED annoying/frustrating components in order to fully enjoy the fun parts of the game. Just like real life. If you just want to sit there and press a pleasure button and feel pleasure non-stop, why don't you just buy a dildo you fucking vaginas...

Blah blah blah, don't take away my lowbies and casuals. Sometimes I only have 15 mintues to play, or I can only play in 5 to 10 minute increments. I have to go afk a lot. I have rl to contend with. I can't shut myself off and play for hours on end anymore. Otherwise I would love a PvP server. I think a PvE server only makes sense for the huge group of people who either don't like wPvP or don't have the time to contend with running way and excessive corpse runs. I think the PvE server will be successful for a long time. I know I will play it for awhile.

Exactly. What the fuck this idiots talking about? Ganks? I leveled a 60 when server started and I level another one recently. I got ganked a lot BUT just corpsed camped 2 or 3 times, and max for 5 deaths until I managed to escape or he got bored

Indeed, if you do open the PVE realm make sure to connect the battlegrounds of all the brackets to not kill the battlegrounds, as they are still kind of slow at some hours of the day.

L10-19 are currently pretty much instant any hour of the day
L20-29 a few minutes up to a half an hour
L30-39 roughly queue times are 30-60min
L40-49 10-40min
L50-59 20-40
L60 ~haven't been there yet

you can't connect the new server to the current one. They'll be at different stages of progression and the PvE server will get stomped.

Very excited for this I think a lot of people like myself who didn't join the original release will come in for this as the PvP server has proven itself.
