With the use of current status content and code release by Nostalrius, this server will remain active.
It will be stationed in Finland if the project gets enough help. Hopefully this person is legit and doesn't drive the end of scheme, either way.. here we go.

Was beyond shocked when I read this. Didn't think this would happen. Absolutely disgusted by Blizzard's behaviour, but I can understand them seeing Nostalrius as a legitimate threat. However Nostalrius proved that there is a big enough demand for previous versions of WoW, so the "you think you want it, but you don't" argument no longer has any validity. Won't be bothering with Private Servers again after this though. Guess I'm done with all kind of WoW now until Legion comes out.

Great to see that the petition is close to 25,000 now. Hopefully Blizz does something, but I doubt it.

I was a part of the Nostalrius (PvE) community for only two weeks, but wanted to express my gratitude to all the fantastic people I quested and grouped with. I was pleasantly suprised at how nice and helpful everyone I spoke with was.

Short as my stay here may have been, it was a wonderful one. I therefore wanted to register also here on the forum and write this small message of thanks to the people I met ingame, as well as to the developers who made this experience possible.

Hope this whole thing will be felt up Blizzard's ass next Blizzcon (is that what they call it?). I'll be keeping an eye on any videos related to those Q&A live meeting-sort of things just to see how they react to 10 people in a row asking about Nost. Not that it's a certain bet but I can see it happening.

No matter who fking takess over, Wherever, Even Kronos just cause of their server location just means it will be more difficult for Blizzard to sue just as they did here and in the past, Priivate servers are just a waste of life and time, nothing lasts.

Legion is about the onlything keeping me attached to this game atm cause the beta is so fucking amazing .

Point is, It WILL happen again no matter where. if the server is 13k people such as this? Yea that crap will be shut down soon, Dunno how Nost thought thy could Prevail or even come close to out running this. Population killed this server, Blizzard was just the Knife
