If they had any clue about modern marketing and customer relationship management, they'd know, that if you just GIVE a little for free (if only to make their old fans shut up already), a service, or if you help people -> the return you get is not money directly, but you keep hundreds of thousands of old customers and you can reap moneh later, when they need them again.

Give something for free. You wont be able to measure a return of keeping die-hard fans and you cant measure having a high street cred and NOT become like EA.

Gimme a break, Blizzard WILL NOT create Legacy Servers. Not anytime soon, no. And to play Vanilla on a really good server, we have only 2 hopes right now:

1 - Nostalrius, who has all the code and power to re-launch.
2 - Crestfall, who clearly have a really nice development team, their last video with pathing and delay and everything clearly proves it.

I have no problem paying blizz to play vanilla/bc, but i doubt they will ever have true legacy servers.
Simply because they don't get what we want.
I simply wanna play the game as it was intended to be played.
