Cant' wait for the new sever, i(m really excited about this, i keep checking this post hoping they move the date earlier. The pve server should be the basic server, you can tag pvp if you want. And you don't have to deal with all those gankers if you don't want to. Choise is good.

Please, Nostalrius Team. If you're going to do this, at least:

Put a free Transfer service.

When they will bring the TBC server(s) and they are anyway going to allow us to get copy of our characters to the TBC realm. Perhaps, in that point they allow us to copy our toons from vanilla pvp to TBC pve.

Ok so we kill all lowbies we see, they go to the PvE server and never get to 60 to take our herbs. PROFIT

Tbh while leveling to 60 I've been killed by alliance alot. Very few times it was for quest mobs or nodes. Most of the time it was someone who wanted to pop some 10 min plus CDs on me or wanted to show of that phat lewt. BUT alot of alliance mages have sheeped me when i was low on health.
The problem is just the camping. Which normally only happens while you are leveling. The averge time to 60 is like 10 days played, so 240 hours. I dont think I lost 1 hour of that due to getting ganked. So less that 0,5% of my time LEVELING. And i'm a fury warrior. If you gank me pre 60 i'm doomed. I don't think anyone at 60 is gonna do the whole leveling etc grinds again. Because when you think of it there you lose relatively a small amount of time in the long run. Sure when you get ganked and camped it seems to go on for ages. I would only even consider it when my char was below like 20

This is super awesome!

I planned on starting when Nost launched but due to IRL I didnt have the time to really get into it before now.

I've been leveling a few toons to around 15 and been having a blast. The downside has been the thought of how far behind I am since I just started.

I love the fact that I will be able to be part of the opening of a new realm and be part of the top.

Anyone already have guildplans? If you do, are competent, experienced etc feel free to PM me.

I have ALOT of time on my hands so you'll see me online quite alot.

Looking forward to really be a part of the Nostalrius community, pwning noobs in BGs and progressing through raids!

PvE realm...Am I reading correctly!? AND one that starts off where, well, everything started!? I cannot wait, I´ve been playing WoW since the very beginning, but for years I have been on the look out for a decent vanilla PvE realm. Tried one earlier on, that was unstable, got attacked, lots of downtime, and PvP. It put me off, a lot.

Now I just started a few weeks ago here, and I just have a few hours a day to play in. The last days over half of my time has been spent corpse running due to high levels in Redrige killing us low levels including our Quest NPCs, etc. constantly.

PvE realm, bring it on, please! ♥

I myself am one of those people who enjoy killing and camping lowbies all day everyday, in order to show them the path to level 60 isn't that easy that anyone can reach it in 2 weeks.

Now that my hobby will be taken away, I'll have to reroll on PvE server with a mage and sheep mobs to full health instead to add a "hardcore challenge" for some players.

Nope, he isn't kidding.

On a pve server people can be even bigger assholes because they will tag/poly your quest mobs and /spit /taunt /chicken you. Also, the 60 ganking will turn into a quest giver npc slaughterfest.

That is being a bigger asshole than camping your corpse? Are you serious? Oh no someone is taunting me. What ever shall I do? I can't turn in one of a dozen quests. Oh bother!

I couldn't even travel the PvP zones that my quests were in before, or could only travel for small amounts of time before I was chased or killed. Almost every zone bottleneck I had to travel through was a death sentence. A PvE server will be a huge quality of gaming increase for me.

Will we be able to transfer our characters to the PvE realm?
The PvE realm is a new realm opening; therefore, transfers will not happen. With this new realm, we want to give the players that missed the Nostalrius Begins opening a second chance and create a new competition.

What will the timeline be?
The server will start in a pre 1.4 patch. The content will be gradually released in the same order it was / will be on Nostalrius PvP Realm.
