I've had it with all these groupgankings, corpsecampings and lvl 60s one-shotting lowbies, it's not easy to enjoy the game around all these douchebags. I'm gonna wait for the PvE server, enough of this shit...

Greatly appreciate all the work that's been done by the Nostalrius crew, you've done a really fine job. I'm very happy and excited for the PvE server, thanks a lot for doing this.

I feel exactlly the same. I leveled up my druid earlier this week, and I hit Stonetalon and the ganking reached a point where it was just unbearable. I googled PvE vanilla server and found out they were planning to release one. I logged out where I was lying dead in the Charred Vale, deleted the character and am now waiting for the release of the PvE server.

Which is really hard.

Ugh...right there with you my friend. See you on the PvE realm!

I've really never understood why the ability to gank was ever included in the game. I get people interested in open world PvP (massive open world battles between consenting participants can be great fun), but how does the ability to endlessly kill wholly defenseless players add value to the world?

Oh well...the gankers can have this realm to themselves. See you on the PvE one soon hopefully!

Nost admins, thanks a ton for working on a PvE realm. You stand practically alone in the private server world in doing so (why I can't understand...), so a great big thanks again!

Now then, if only the new realm rolls out in time for us to all quest together in Duskwood at Halloween (without all the soulcrushing gankage)...the dream! :D

Yep, exactly. I always thought they needed to put in more things to discourage you from ganking low level players, or straight up making it impossible if the target is too low. For example, if the target is 10 levels above you, you don't see their level, and only see a skull. I mean the whole point of that is because they are so much higher in level that you most likely don't have a chance, so why not just make it impossible for them to attack. That still wouldn't prevent ganking 100% but it would be a start. If you need to be able to kill players that are so much below you then maybe you can't take on players of your own level.

You do all realize the announcement is going to be one which further kicks the can down the road on this one right? I'm waiting as well for the realm to be opened with bated breath, yet I'm anticipating a VERY long wait for the actual server itself.
