I have to admit, I'm crying now because it's hard when someone take off your childhood dream brutally away from you. The words are missing, really I can't say anything but THANK YOU for what you guys of the Nostalrius Team gave to us, THANK YOU to the awesome community, the dream wasn't endless but it was real for a time and will be forever indelible in my heart.

I was a 10 year subscriber to WoW and quit in 2015 because the game was no longer appealing. I was willing to give Legion a try to see if WoW recovered. Not as a threat, but as a reaction to Blizzard and their stance on legacy servers, I will not support Blizzard products in the future including Legion unless legacy servers become available in some form or fashion as part of the subscription.

Dear Nostalrius Staff:

I'm writing this because I need to say that you can't leave us alone. You gave us one of the more wonderful experiences of Vanilla WoW and it really hurts to watch it die.

That's why I want to ask you to keep going, looking for another server provider or, hell, even asking KimDotCom!

Come on, there's +20k signatures out there supporting you and asking Blizzard to change its ways! I know it's scary and, don't get me wrong, I don't want you to get sued, but this was a project that brought us together, one in which you've spent so many years and I guess it's worth to keep going on, looking for whatever solution it may help to stay alive. Maybe all we need is to let it cool down a few months and then rise again from our ashes.

Anyway, whatever you decide, I just wanted to thank you for these wonderful months I've spent playing in Nostalrius.

Thank you Nost team. I had a great time playing and met lots of nice people. My wife had never played wow and she wanted something to try so I said lets play some vanilla wow. She had such a great time, met many friends and even ran a guild for a bit. We are both very sad to see it go, but we have some great memories. I cannot stand Blizzard, they are all scum. I have 2 original copies of wow (mine and my sons) and I cannot play that game anymore. Progress? I wish the Nost team and all the players best wishes and farewell.
