No bugs, correct patch rollout, less latency, no server lag, harder and correct boss mechanics, quick professional staff (Not that Nostalrius staff wasn't <3) more balanced bgs that don't have constant premades, Chinese servers, legal, streamable, BLIZZLIKE vanilla wow. Nostalrius can't be all of the above, it lacks the knowledge, resources and man power to be the perfect emulation of vanilla. But blizzard can... and all of the people saying.. "I want Nost back, fuck blizzard legacy servers!" are going against what Nost wants, and is fighting for. They want blizzard to bring back legacy, otherwise this was all for nothing, and they lost, we, the community.. lost.

How do u mean we don't want most back, bliz will never keep up with 12k ppl online on single server and that's reality.

Mostly i fear that blizz will fuck legacy up with all their new shit. Dungeonfinder, shop, questmaps, new models. All the new stuff since cata. Only real thing i really enjoyed were the achievements. Those were fun.
Im pretty sure that blizz wont give us the legacy we want. I wont subscripe for a game i actually dont want to play or even pay for.

Look what Nostalrius retweeted the 19th of this month... They rt a video named: "Nostalrius is coming back?!". It seems clear to me. They wouldnt rt that, if they didnt plan to get the server back. Be prepared. Its happening.

A conclusion any sane human being would reach. Taking in all the evidence and things that nostalrius have done/said since this announcement, there is no feasible way to reach a conclusion that isn't "they plan to re-host their servers".

However, no one actually knows just how out of touch the nostalrius staff might be with any form of common sense whatsoever, so who knows what they might possibly be planning.

I've been reading this forum every day since the announcement and i'm surprised just how quick you guys will go on a hype train or abandon ship completely. just learn to accept that this situation is out of your control, if nost will reopen it will reopen, if blizzard announces legacy at blizzcon they will. Regardless on what is actually going to happen we just need to wait and see instead of getting too excited or getting too upset

I don't understand why people would be getting upset over this. Sure if Blizzard "messes up" their legacy server or if Nost doesn't relaunch, it'll be a tad disappointing. There are a ton of other vanilla servers to move to if that's the case, and I doubt they would succumb to Blizzard as easily as Nost did. The newer private servers now know that if they don't want to get shut down, they better host in a country where Blizzard's rules and regulations don't apply. It's a win-win situation because no matter what happens, there will still be places to go to play Vanilla Wow.

Because all other private servers I have tried have too low pop, are badly scripted, are p2w, or are completely made up of non-English speakers. Nost is literally the only good server I have played on. My last hope is Crestfall, and if that fails then here's hoping Nost pulls through.
