IMO it will fuck up both servers. I'd be really unhappy if they did this, especially since it's backpedaling on what was previously promised.

Yeah, I'd be extremely disappointed, and it would make me lose all interest in the PvE server. But I don't wanna jump to any conclusions. Hopefully we get some news on the PvE server this week and can put this theory to rest.

Interesting idea. I appreciate this creativity. It's not that bad, in fact i kinda like it. Just the voice acting could by much better. 
However, this would by cool only in case if the portal give you chance to start a FRESH CHARACTER on PvE realm. If it is this case than it doesnt matter if It's blizz or not. 
Even if it is just a quests or some world-event It's nice to see there are trying to do something original.
