I registered only to say one thing.
Most of you that have commented on this thread , you do not deserve the Database back. I truly HOPE they have a change of heart and not include the database in the new server.
I don't care about my characters , yes it was fun playing with them , memories and all. But so was when retail came out but i got over it when i lost that too.
What I care is that a big group of people is working without any profit to provide some ungrateful little shits with a great quality server and the thanks they get back is only insults and people going crazy because they ARE NOT SURE IF the database will be also given to Elysium devs or not.
Disgrace of a community , i truly hope the database gets deleted , or they just dont release it.
So the people that will come in the new server will only be people that actually want a decent server and a nice community with Admins / Mods / Devs that care about it.

Just a fucking shame on the backlash from all the people here. And i assume most of you are over 25 years of old if you have played retail Vanilla. And still you acted worse than 10 year olds that play League of Legends. Just a fucking shame of a community you were today. Peace.

Will there be a fresh server? as much as i liked my t1/t2 paladin i would prefer a fresh start after all this time but with the same profesionalism that nostalrius had <.<

I really don't understand the hate. This should be pretty good. Nost re-opens under a different name, with the server placed in the correct country this time. They have almost 20 OG Nost staff planted at Elysium now (with more surely to follow). By the time new Nost opens I'm sure the Nost devs will have taken the reigns and steer this in the right direction.

It's Nost, but it's going under the disguise of Elysium as a big FU to Blizzard and I love it. I cannot wait to play my old toons, and roll some new ones.

It was fun hanging out with Pottu in Thunderbluff before shut down. Now we very well may get to chill out together once more
