Anyway, I love PvE so this is something I would enjoy. But, what about the number of people on each server? If the community splits, will there be enough people to fill the world?

When there's nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire.

Only a sixth of the 2500 people who showed up at the PvE sample test were active on the PvP server, meaning at most the PvP server is looking at losing ~500 people.

This has long since been debunked based on the data provided by Syrah. Almost 70%, nearly 3 in 4, of the people that logged into the test PvE realm were entirely new players that never played on Nostalrius before. The rest were players that did play on Nostalrius but had quit a while back for whatever reason.

This demonstrates the community is poised to grow, not split.

Do you use the website to play the game?

Great criteria

I hope we get a release inminent, not just an announcement, as if they communicating with us was something rare and worth celebrating.

I'll play on whichever one opens first. However, if the toxicity from the PvP server bleeds into the PvE server, I'll probably go to SRP and try that out (if it opens later). So far on their "forums" everyone has been grown up and are actually discussing things instead of just replying "you're retarded/stupid/etc". The communication is also a huge advantage. If you get banned, they'll probably tell you why.
