Now is the time for Legacy community reunification

My old Nostalrius account name is the same as my Valkyrie / Elysium account name (different pw's) that i made some time back hope that won't be an issue's with Nost DB? also can we keep our character names?

That is an issue with many players and we will need to figure out a way to sort it out in as painless manner as possible. As of now, Nostalrius characters will have priority for names over Elysium characters if there is a conflict. Possibly with some caveats, like a lvl 1 character from Nostalrius will not take the name of a lvl 60 from Elysium. It is one of the hurdles we must solve before launching.

If you raise this rule above level 1 dont forget Nost had very active twinks community and many played 19 and 29 lvl chars full time

With the Nostalrius server relaunch, you show again your interest both for our loved game and for us, the players.

I hope these Elysium-Nost servers will be of such high quality that the original servers (pvp & pve Nost) have been.

This is gonna be the beginning of a wonderful friendship.

There a four things which i really find ridiculous:

1. Stop hating the Nost team and bashing the Elysium server.
Those guys spend their private time just for your possibility to play Vanilla.
You must appreciate that!

2. Stop this "I don´t care about my T2-Paladin, i want a fresh start. This is gonna divide
the community!.". Either you are just a liar or you got all the time in the world to gear up
a T2-Character again.
READ THE POSTS: There will be 3 Servers: One Pvp-Server Nost-chars and Elysium-chars merged.
One Pve-Server with your Nost-toons and one FRESH-START-SERVER.
So just start fresh, trash your fully geared T2-Paladin and be happy!

3. Stop wanting your banned Nost-chars back. There has to be a reason why they were banned!

4. Stop crying for a Rollback in Nostalrius-Timeline because you deleted all your epics and
gold and whatsoever. You were so frustrated that you did behave like a completely brainless
monkey and now you just want to rewind the tape just a few days when your life was absolutely
okay.
Are you serious? When the Nostalrius announcement came they said, they are gonna release
the core and database to the public so everybody expected to continue playing the next week
on another server.
And what did you do? You deleted chars, epics, gold and now regretting it?
That is your own fault. Next time behave like an adult.

I am looking forward to log in my beloved characters sitting in Thunder Bluff and watching
the fishes in the pond like there was never an end before.
Imagine the first login on Elysium with all your Nost-friends continuing the farewell-party in
OG or IF. What a huge experience. Can´t wait to see that.

I can't play as much as i did in the beginning of the year and would like to play a new class and faction. And tbh I would rather do this on a fresh server with zero gold. Eventough I have a T2 shaman with a good amount of gold on Nost PvP. So both the old and new server will have fans.
Also the char data they saved is from when they made the announcement (or even a few days before they made it). Not the last second Nost was online.

Anyway I'm looking forward to a fresh casual start. I hope the new server can live up to the Nostalrius name in population, support and scripting.

As i read the posts im kinda shocked there have been people thinking Nostalrius server would be ever restarted. And also that the meeting with Blizz was anything else than a calculated PR with no plan to make legacy servers EVER. So naive...
