So seeing as a lot of people here know a thing or two about how law works and seeing as this is the best place to post a question such as this one... can anyone tell me why they couldn't just move the server to a safe country? I'm hearing a lot of people say it's super easy but then again the team doesn't seem to want to. I'm wondering why they wouldn't. Anyone that fills me in on this will be crowned King of Awsome... ville? Yeah.

Nostalrius is one of the best thing i founded in the internet for last 3-5 years... (along with Firefall, which is created with old wow team btw ))

Any opinions what time we have to wait to log in again with our characters, or at least to create a new one ?
cuz i dont think that so big and massive thing like Nost can just dissapear because of losing a hosting...

Hey there, I'm having trouble finding the legal documentation filed against Nostalrius. Can anyone point me to where it might be? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I'm a small claims lawyer in the US and as such I'm interested in first judging the authenticity (which I have no question of at this point) and then of course reading the formal charges.

In the reddit AMA, Nano said that it was:

- A letter written in both French and English.
- Said letter made no reference to the DMCA, but rather to French laws.
- They will not publish it since some bits of it include information about the Nost devs.

They can easily just block out personal information.
That sort of thing makes me really cautious to want to believe this though.
A cease and desist isn't even an official legal document. The different between that and formal charges are infinite. If they can't prove that this even happened, let alone just what was delivered to them, and Blizzard doesn't seem to care to comment, then I remain a skeptic. After all, look at the enormous hype this generated!
