Message to the private servers community

This is exciting for me and some of the other people I've talked to on Nos because we are excited to get a clean start. We are coming to Nostalrius kind of late, and it seems like it will be fun to progress with the realm.

There's a fullstop after the "we" so most likely they used "we" as the common short form of weekend. my guess is that they really have to think this through in every aspect and the announcement of the opening (i give it a 65% chance) will be thursday afternoon. anyone wanna bet?

Maybe they even meant Wednesday but ill put my bet on for Friday the server will go live ( if they choose to do it ) due to most people having the weekend off from work giving them the ability to play as well as having more GMs monitoring everything so there are little to no hiccups.

I highly doubt it'll open this week, more likely next week or the week after that.

The announcement will probably come before this weekend though.

I have no shot as proof but I am 99% positive it was 'next (or upcoming) Week', not week-end. Why should they wait for the week end,makes not much sense, they can announce their decision whenever they want, there is no deadline. Sunday test was chosen (IMO) because the population peaks at weekends and supposedly most players have sunday off.
P.S.
just speculations, but server going live during workdays would MAYBE lessen the initial onrush (day-one craziness) some, rather than when most players are available to log in and play. Sort of mini-ninja event like a fellow poster suggested

They most have thought about this before the test, if it goes well it will come up and now are fine tuning it to make it good. If it is crap we will just say that. Think it will be on wednesday the announcment will come but the server will open up on friday, if we are lucky it will be on wednesday it will open.

They said ingame as the test was about to end, that next weekend (this upcoming one) there would be an announcement of sorts.

According to replies, it happens. Approx 99%. At last, there wont be gankers around. It will be nice and easy gaming, like in old days on my favorite EU_Fordragon

You are not alone, i wanna play really bad but i dont wanna do it on the PvP server if i can do it on PvE

I'm still trying to decipher what "We." means. The most "logical" (if there even is any logic) explanation must be either "before this week" or "before this weekend". "Before this week" as in "before this week is over." If he was trying to write "Wednesday" surely he would have written "before this wed".

I am wondering if they like to be as vague as possible on purpose just to mess with people.

Yep same here i look forward to playing on the new server not for the fact that i hate pvp ( i played on a pvp server on retail vanilla ) i just look forward to a fresh server and the race to 60 and building a community from scratch. I live in Australia and work about 9 hours a day and i was up till 5 am waiting for the test server to get thrown up to put in my support.
