It's a common thing here in Central and Eastern Europe.

Maybe its not the "most" but its a considerable amount of working force thus potential players.

Don't worry about it.

Administration has information on how many % of constant daily players play at what hours, and depending on that info they will decide how much approximatelly will be online there. Count the fact of uptime of only 30 minutes, and not enough info everywhere about it - you'll get some good estimations.


All in all, second realm will have a lot of potential in the future as the russian private server community, which is huge in it's own rights, haven't heard of Nostalrius up until now, and if needed a lot more players can be brought here. Only thing needed is some advertisement somewhere with the potential of this project, and it will have a great bright future.

Guys, how about a little patience regarding the decision of a free thing that is going to require a huge commitment of time and money for the devs? You know, instead of being selfish twats and acting like needy 5 year olds?

I'm all for a PvE server. I was there for the test and stayed the whole time. The draw to Nostalrius for me wasn't the population and it sure as hell wasn't the world PvP (which is generally more like PvFreeDHK). Retail sucks. I quit playing a few weeks into WotLK because I was disapointed with how ez mode everything had become. Came back partway through MoP and stayed partway through WoD. And it was still ez mode. When I heard that there was a vanilla WoW server on Nostalrius, it immediately piqued my interest. I'm looking to recapture that nostalgia. And while I initially rolled on a PvP server in vanilla retail because I didn't know better; let me tell you that ganks are not something I feel nostalgic about. Despite what the angry gankers in this thread may think, that's not because I'm bad at the game. I've got more than my share of server firsts in retail. I'll reroll to a PvE server if it opens up. I'll leave the assholes behind and never look back.
