Facts:
The server was up for approx 45min, that is an EXTREMELY small time sample. Yet, 1700 people logged on to show support.
Meanwhile, the 7k population on the PvP server took a dip of approx 500 people, down to 6500. That indicates a potential addition of 1200 new players to the overall Nost community. That is a VERY impressive number considering the 45min span of the test.
Servers such as these do not gain popularity through traditional marketing means. Most if not all new members find their way here via word of mouth. Friends telling friends that then go on to tell more friends! That means the more people play to begin with the bigger the snowball effect will be and the more new players will steadily join the community.
What does this all mean?
After the numbers seen this past Sunday, it is guaranteed that this new server will become a reality in the near future. It would be a colossal business mistake to not take advantage of the demand for this PvE server.
If you are for this, relax, it is coming. If you are against this, sorry pal, direct your salt elsewhere, you are completely irrelevant in this thread.
