To me that 4 week at least is pure speculation and it will be until we get more information on an ETA. Hold tight til' Sunday for more details and don't take unofficial information to heart.

I say it gonna last longer than 4 weeks. So 4 weeks is a good minimum. I bet it gonna last 3 month or more. Elysium gonna try to migrate their Database to the "new" Nost Core. They need to downgrade the items of their palyers. That's a bunch of work. And trust me, there gonna be a huge load of bugs after migrating the database to the nost core. People who ever tried to migrate a database of one core to another core know, that this is hard work and provide a endless line of bugs. So yes have fun dreaming of less than 4 weeks.

And that's the reason why the new Elysium server gonna be shity. Cause the Nost DB Chars gonna be mixed with buged Elysium DB Chars. Best choice would have been to strictly seperate the servers. No mixture of Elysium and Nostalrius DB = no bug party.

So, better play on the fresh server to avoid playing the bug party <3

The PvP & PvE Server will not be the original Nost servers! Stop dreaming of that! You gonna have Elysium chracters on it.

SQL queries speed things up to pull up all the items that didn't exist, and items going though stat changes is something that the Nost staff is used to as the started Nost 1.0 with patch 1.4 gear.


I won't speculate on when it will be, as we all hope for sooner than later. But that is neither hear nor there. We'll get more answers Sunday, and then there will be 6 threads ranting and complaining about the same things again.

The PvP Server was very, very full. I think the fresh server gonna be a PvP Server

Because a bunch of masochists want to re-level to 60 and do everything over again when instead they could simply pick up where they left off. They are purposely splitting up the community when they could simply just make a new character on the pvp realm. Screw throwing away the hundreds of hours I put into my character and screw the 1-60 grind which I've done 4 or 5 times already.

Sadly at this point it seems that the server with the old data will have a max pop of 1-2k during peak hours and in that case I just won't play except for some pvp here and there as others likely will. Especially us NA guys who will not have a big enough player pool during our hours to form guilds for endgame raiding.

Yes you are right with that thing, they are experienced to migrate their OWN DB to their OWN core. I don't think that they are experienced in migrating the Elysium DB to their own core. Well how ever even with their own DB the Nostalrius team never managed to 100% hit their timeline deadlines. Mostly the change came some weeks or at least some days later than the timeline said.

Well on the other hand we don't know when they exactly started the process? Maybe they started weeks ago. So as you say we will see at the weekend.
