Isn't much but okay if you think that's so horrible nobody gonna stop you from playing with our old chars - like most of the people gonna do. But what's the problem to level a new char? Just because you don't like it doesn't mean other people don't like it. Some people had 3 and even more lvl 60 chars. You rly think people never see the end content just because they reroll? Well just cause need 1 year to level 1 char to level 60 doesn't mean that other people need 1 year. But yea talk a lot.
Oh and before you say "just because you are a sad sausage who never seen the end content" - nope I gonna play my lvl 60 dwarf priest.
I have no problem with people rolling on the fresh server. Did you read anything I actually posted? Lots of people MUST go to the fresh server so the original PvE and PvP servers will not become overpopulated causing many technical and in game problems. Luckily there are plenty of people who will be rolling on the fresh server for many reasons. So things should work out for all three servers in the end. The new server will build a good population, and older servers won't get flooded with too many players.
Some original people who want a fresh race to 60 through the same exact content can do it all over again on the fresh server AND still play their old characters. Some new people who don't want to level and/or get geared for AQ and Nax will roll on the fresh server. Banned people will roll on the fresh server. Twinks will roll twink-alts on the fresh server. Some people who want to play their old characters will still roll alts on the fresh server once the starting zones settle down since they chose to make it PvP. And if by chance the community on the fresh server is half as great as it was on the original Nost, people should enjoy their time playing there. It's a win-win situation.
A lot of people have been acting pretty doom and gloom. Some still are acting that way. I'm just here letting the original Nostalrius folks know that no matter what you choose, you should get some enjoyment out of your decision. To sit there and say everything is going to suck because a big chunk of people will be rolling on the fresh server is nonsense.
I don't think you're a sad sausage. You seem to be pretty down to earth and logical compared to a lot of these people posting that I've seen. It certainly would be utter chaos if no one rolled on the new server. This is why things have to go down this way. Someone get Lifealert a tissue and tell him everything is going to be okay.
Just ignore the people saying, "I had a 60 on old nost! Im starting over on the new server!" Like, okay that's fine, but link those 60's. How much time did you spend getting all that gear/pvp? I would love to see them. I know 5-6 guilds of 60+ members that are going back to old Nost.
You best believe I'm not spending 4-6 weeks hitting lvl 60, and then more for Pre-Bis gear. Oh, waiting 6-9+ months for them to catch up where old Nost left off while raid logging for MC/BWL. Sounds like a blast. Assuming the server doesn't get shutdown again.
