Playing on Nostalrius was some of the most fun I've ever had, the huge population made world PvP incredible and that's something I don't think will ever happen again. Thanks to the dev team for making all the memories and friendships happen.

I'm not a person to post on the forums but the server was by far the best vanilla server I have ever played on. Currently I'm doing a master thesis, 2 subjects with examination and working 50%. When i finally get off work at night I allways go home and relax on this server. For me it has been two games for most of my life. It was cs 1.6 back in the day and vanilla/tbc. I played some wotlk but nothing compares to vanilla. Every other game I've tried is just not my type of game.

I didn't really care about the lag because I was sure the dev team would find a solution to any problem. I would like to thank everyone taking part in Nost and it feels like I'm at a funeral right now. Hopefully it will be possible to release this fantastic game before I die, probably in like 50-60 years time, for a longer period.

I haven't played the new stuff, cata was not my type of game and it has not gotten better after that. I hate that every class is like a raid boss in PvP now adays, which is my preferred aspect of the game, although i enjoy PvE to some extent in vanilla/TBC.

Maybe I might figure out something special for my master thesis, which is on dry reforming of methane, now that I have a bit more time on my hands. I still think there is no hope for dry reforming for methane to synthesis gas, just like for vanilla servers, so god help me. However I don't see any replacement for Nost so I guess I won't be a gamer for a while.

I have poured my heart out for the first time in a long time and feel weak. I have no faith in blizzard putting out any vanilla/TBC servers. I will not buy any games from blizzard that I know I won't like. WoW in it's current form is dead to me so unless they create something new and exciting, which is possible as the combat system in all games I have ever tried is and feels horrible, I would buy that.
