I really hope the server doesn't come under ddos attack, that would be just what kronos needs to take all the population.

The reason feenix has the population is because they have been around the longest and doesn't just disappear (i'm looking at you scriptcraft / rebirth).

I'm currently raiding on ED and i'm sick of the bugs and long periods between releases (been farming bwl for 2 year -_- ).

Hope that doesn't happen here.

What does this kind of attitude even means, both yours and theirs. I'll be glad if it gets DDOS'd by any party cause it will show what kind of server protection are we dealing with. Hating other servers for reasons as " its crap because its not my first option". In any case its their race and if any of those 2 projects start flaming the other one thats the one that is losing. Just show what u got by releasing the better server and u have nothing else to prove. I'll be glad to enjoy and test both options and see the winner.

I am more worried about the competitors, that actually makes quite some $$ with their servers. They have a clear reason to ddos Nos and fck up a good launch.

I really doubt that the server staff members would risk making attacks - they don't come off as being the shady sort. The fans and players though? Yeah, I'm thinking some feeble obvious script kiddie efforts will be made. The real threat would come from Molten though. They've DDoS'd the crap out of servers in the past, both from their staff members (2010-2012 era) and their players.

If this server doesn't have something professional in place, it's going to be as ugly as what Rebirth went through. I have a really hard time believing the server Devs haven't planned for all of these threats though. It's as obvious as knowing that your car's engine needs oil.

I remember back in the old days, a community created world event on Zenedar (retail server I used to play on)
WPVP in Southshore/Tarren Mill = so much hype... after lots of ppl got there... world server down

Same happened to the opening of AQ xD I could not walk 1cm before getting dc`d....

But the best part?? its not happening to me alone.... but to all of us...

we share the happiness and we share the frustration THAT is what makes us a nice community... and whatever ddos attacks or shit is thrown to the server as long as we look forward we will have an awesome time here .....
