Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Dear community,

In order to provide you the most polished and quality content we have created a new dedicated realm to test future content without impacting the live realm performance. This sunday 6rd of March, the first part of Ahn'Qiraj content will be released which means that AQ20 will be available on the PTR at 20:00 server time.



Regarding what part of the playerbase who will be able to access the PTR. The original plan was to make the PTR available for players that reached level 60 on the PVP realm by the 28th of february but the problem is that the database of players on the PVP realm is npw too big to be transferred from one realm to another without risking critical issues regarding performance. As a consequence from now on the PTR will be accessible to anyone but they will need to create a new character on the PTR. Vendors will be available to provide you levels & items.

Feel free to share your experience on the PTR with everyone through streams, videos, etc. Do not be afraid to talk publicly about the testing and your trials.

for people who are gonna create characters. make sure you copy WTF folder over so most of your addon settings are saved on PTR.

Note for AQ20 PTR: There will be no consumable vendor. The IsVV team has added an adequate number of items for each class to complete the testing process of AQ20. If there are missing items for slots, please create a ticket once on the PTR. We provided some of the best items currently available for your enjoyment so please do not bother us with requests for specific items if there is an alternative already available.

There will also be an NPC that will directly teleport you to the entrance of AQ20. And while you can zone into AQ40, you might find it rather boring as we've removed all the NPCs inside.

Will the AQ20 class sets be available from vendors for players to test set bonuses?

Also, will items from the reputation quests (Earthstrike & co) be available for player to test them (most notably the caster ring proc rate for instance)?

If not, that would be nice additions to the PTR .

So we will create brand new characters, but there will be no consumables for us?
