Nostalrius Begins is today the only server which has already developped all the retail content : we'll not make you dream about something we haven't, that's for sure ! The fact that we have all the content ready doesn't mean that everything will be available at launch, and this for multiple reasons.

The PvP Battleground Alterac Valley or Events (Silithus silithysts and Plaguelands tower) will not be available right away. Warsong Gluch and Arathi Basin will be the only Battlegrounds available at launch without restriction. The PvP honor system will also be fully available at launch (the players waited 5 months on retail to have it). Alterac Valley will be opened 3 months after server opening. Since we also want to let you experiment epic PvP battles outside Battlegrounds, we may organize events to reproduce the huge battles you miss now.


Darkmoon Fair and Fishing Event will be available in the first 3 months.
Kazzak and Azuregos will be available once Onyxia's head will be on a spike.
Dire Maul will open 1 month after Molten Core & Onyxia Lair content is cleared.
Regarding raids, Black Wing Lair will be available 2 months after Molten Core & Onyxia Lair content is cleared.
ZulGurub and T0.5 quests will be available 1 month after Black Wing Lair content is cleared.
Ahn Qiraj War Effort will be available 2 months after Black Wing Lair content is cleared.
Dragons of Nightmare and Abyssal high council will be unlocked soon after Ahn Qiraj War Effort began.
Ahn Qiraj Gate event will open the Ruins of Ahn Qiraj and the Temple of Ahn Qiraj.
2 months after Ahn Qiraj temple is cleared, the Scourge invasion will begin.
2 months after the beginning of the Scourge Invasion, Naxxramas will open with the outdoor PVP objectives (Silithus silithyst and Plaguelands Tower).

To summarize, what will be available at launch :

• Dungeons : Ragefire Chasm, Deadmines, Wailing Caverns, Shadowfang Keep, Blackfathom Deeps, The Stockade, Gnomeregan, Scarlet Monastery, Razorfen Kraul, Uldaman, Scholomance, Razorfen Downs, Stratholme, Zul'Farrak, Temple of Atal'Hakkar, Blackrock Depths, Maraudon, Lower Black Rock Spire.
• PVP : Warsong, Arathi Basin, PvP honor system
• Raids : UBRS, Onyxia, Molten Core (including possible drop of [Talisman of Binding Shard]*)

* Until a player get the [Talisman of Binding Shard], [Bindings of the Windseeker] won't be available on Garr and Geddon.

As a reminder, this is not a final timeline. You should rather consider it as an indicative timeline.

Hello everyone,

Until now, regarding timeline, we moslty focused part on the instance's opening conditions.
However, we now focus on the items/reputations part of the timeline with some fresh news.
Official sources have been found by our Team regarding items from different patchs, which are under processing (complete stats). Timeline regarding items / reputations will change soon thanks to these datas, in order to be more in line with retail's history.

Regarding PvP equipment (which is for us a major point) :
* PvP equipment sets (R7, R8, R10 & R12, R13) will be available with original stats (before 1.11 patch) at server release.
* R14 weapons won't be available for players with the corresponding highest rank until ZG's release.
* Once ZG has been released, new PvP items will be available (R7, R8, R10), and R12/R13 items will be updated, in line with the stats known after 1.11 patch.

As the actual timeline representation is difficult to read, an interactive web timeline will be created : this will be more intuitive for everyone.

Data processing regarding R14 weapons available during the patch 1.4 has been done.

We announce that these R14 weapons (related to the patch 1.4) will be available at server launch since statistics of these weapons will not bring a balance problem with PVE equipments progression. At ZG release, the weapons will be automatically upgraded with the stats from patch 1.12 : players won't have to buy the new ones, and enchantement on the weapon will be preserved.

Here is a new update of the timeline for equipment :

* Cenarion's badges, Cenarion's reputation given by creatures found in Silithus, Crepuscul's text, and Silithus invocation's items won't be available until AQ War effort.
* Argent's Dawn items won't be available until Scourge invasion event release, including badges and quests giving its.
* Darkmoon Fair epic items will be available in their older version until ZG release.

* Until a player get the [Talisman of Binding Shard], [Bindings of the Windseeker] won't be available on Garr and Geddon.
