Since the shutdown of the server, new issues related to legacy arose in the video gaming industry. Games such as Halo Online, Battlefront 3, among others, has also been affected. From our point of view, there's room for legitimate and lawful legacy servers in the industry: a win-win agreement between the copyright holder and the community is possible. This is our message to the gaming industry: there is a huge business to be created with the support of legacy MMORPGs, in addition to the reinforcement of the community pertaining to the game.
In that sense, we believe that we need to better understand the legacy context in these different games. We would happily exchange our feedback with volunteer teams handling a legacy server for other games. You may contact us at [email protected]

Summer break is over and now is the time to continue our journey along the World of Warcraft legacy road.
As promised in our last announcement, our t-shirt campaign is going to start.

This t-shirt is taken as an example
The campaign will start with a limited series of t-shirts for a limited time on a first-come first-served basis. The link to order t-shirts will be available on all our social medias this Saturday at 3P.M. / Server time (GMT+2) 2016-09-10. If you have the opportunity, you should wear it at the Blizzcon in November. This is a good way to show your love for World of Warcraft, recognize and meet your Nostalrius family fellows there, and make sure that the legacy server community is visible!

Nostalrius has always been non-profit and this t-shirt campaign is no exception. The sell price will be equal to the supplier's creation cost. There will be no margin, not even a cent and verification of this will be provided.

We all share a common passion for World of Warcraft. Even though our vision of the game as it is provided today may be different, we all want Blizzard to make a significant step on the legacy topics. "Every voice matters" is one of the company core values, so let's continue making noise about Legacy WoW.
Best regards,
Nostalrius.
The time is always right to do what is right.
