After using these for a while, I got pretty annoyed.
I'm an elemental shaman, but seeing as we're constantly trying to save mana, melee damage is still there. Seeing and hearing the constant blue shock got really annoying.

So now I'm using the 1% spell crit hands from that DM quest...but these are still good for MC and stuff, and maybe if I get much more +damage without getting earthfury gauntlets I'll use em again.

• "fairly amusing when the 3 lightning damage starts critting for 4 or 5 points of damage"
• "The +3 Nature Damage occurs on EVERY melee attack. Also, although of no real value, is that it can "crit" for 4 or 5 damage, and if you are a Shaman with Windfury on, when windfury procs, the Storm Gauntlets triple proc, it's actually pretty funny."

Now bear in mind that Storm Gauntlets is itself a spell damage item and that Lightning damage is actually Nature damage in vanilla, meaning Storm Gauntlets should scale with its own spell damage if it scaled as you so obstinately insist.

So, again: Storm Gauntlets did not scale you absolute nincompoop.

2) Somebody else pointed out that paladins aren't great tanks.

3) Just like in the paladin DPS thread, you immediately began hurling completely unprovoked verbal abuse at everybody who had anything negative to say about paladin tanks, page after page of insults and flames that you began, mixed with hilariously wrong claims about the power of paladin tanks.

4) People then started calling you out on those inaccuracies and your disgusting behaviour.

5) Since then, you guys have gone into siege mode with all manner of deflections, digressions, flawed arguments, and a continued insistence that paladin tanks are great and anyone who says otherwise is worthy of ridicule.

...There is no reason why Blizzard would do a 1% coefficient. Custom coefficients are extremely rare, and Blizzard would sooner just disable scaling. And if it did have a 1% coefficient, then people would mention that it sometimes hits for 4 damage, considering that the gauntlets themselves give +21 nature damage.

...At no point did he say that the gloves scale with spell damage. He is only saying that the he likes the gloves and if he has enough +damage to cover his needs he'd consider revisiting it. He is also making it clear that he considers Earthfury Gauntlets better, which is curious if this guy believed that Storm Gauntlets scaled as you insist.
